About In the Company of Good Men

shaking handsIn the endeavor to become all that God desires there has to be revelation on what it is going to take to get to the next level. While no one can make the journey for us we don’t necessarily have to go it alone. Throughout the bible there are examples of men sharing life’s journey for the purpose of growth, mission, and encouragement; men such as Elijah and Elisha, Paul and Timothy, and Moses and Aaron.

This ministry is based on a couple of passages, the first Exodus 34:29-35, in this passage Moses goes before the presence of God and when he comes out his face is shining.  As we find ourselves doing the same, some type of trans-formation should be taking place. Our lives should have such an overwhelming impact that the testimony of God should be easily seen and the Glory should be given to our Lord for what he has done.  The next passage can be found in 2 Corinthians 3:1-6 this particular text reminds us that we don’t have to walk around with bibles under our arms but that we should be living epistles to be read by all men. This is what In the Company of Good Men is all about.

“We ourselves are not the Light; we have only come to bear witness to the Light. That the one true Light that gives Light to every man has come into the world.”

We seek to walk with men and help them to gain a better understanding  of who the Savior is and to allow the Holy Spirit to use us for the purpose of healing those who may be in need. We also acknowledge that this is not a one way street and that as we give to others we will also receive and go from glory to glory. My prayer is that through the time spent blessing others you will be richly blessed.
